Low Crossing
Drawing from mid-20th-century American architecture and Japanese tatami structures, Low Crossing is a free-standing, double-sided bookshelf that functions as both furniture and spatial partition. Accessible from both sides, it allows space to be divided yet remain visually connected. The inner offset shelves and dividers are in smooth stained oak and offer a dynamic rhythm. They are framed by a robust structure highlighted by a polished brass inset.
Raised on four inverted “boots”, the work carries a sense of lightness and architectural poise, echoing the elevated spirit of mid-century architecture.
